Position Summary:
The JDE Financial Systems Analyst will serve as the JDE subject matter expert, provide guidance on the utilization of JDE, manage upgrades of JDE and assist in the training and support of end users.  
JDE End User Support
  • Provide phone and hands-on support to JDE end users to include training, troubleshooting, report creation and other ad hoc requests.
  • Monitor JDE data integrity reports and correct discrepancies.

JDE Subject Matter Expert
  • Actively conduct research, attend conferences and monitor functionality enhancements related to the JDE software application and associated tools.
  • Commit to the continual learning and understanding of the business processes, challenges and data reporting requirements of each business unit and how JDE can be leveraged to drive enhanced reporting.
  • Conduct recurring meetings with each finance and accounting department to identify opportunities to expand and continually improve the use of JDE.
  • Proactively develop recommendations for expanded utilization of JDE and review such recommendations with each Business Unit.

JDE Software Implementation
  • Partner with IT to serve as a Project Lead on all upgrades of JDE and any implementations of new JDE integrated software.  

JDE Training Program
  • Lead the effort to establish and implement a defined JDE Training Program for all employees of the finance and accounting departments with Armstrong
  • In cooperation with each finance and accounting team, identify other departments within each company who utilize JDE (warehouse, purchasing, A/P, payroll, etc.) and lead the effort to establish and implement a JDE Training Program
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Accounting Information Systems or related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office 
  • JD Edwards and report writing experience preferred
